January 4th, I’d say that’s not too bad for a chronic procrastinator to produce an annual review and planner!
This is my free gift to you. Use it and abuse it however you wish.
It’s a guide to a 4-step process to plan your goals and set you on the right path to achieving them in 2013, including worksheets, a calendar to fill in and a sneaky tip that will help you see exactly what you’re doing wrong now and how to change it.
I’ve started mine already and have decided my theme of the year.
I appreciate it sounds random but will explain more next time!
There are, by the way, a number of year planners that you can find online. If you want to do a bigger one, go forth and search for one that suits your style! This is a mishmash of things I’ve been doing for ages, like having a word for a year, mixed with bits I’ve tried from online sources in recent years, tiny snippets of NLP exercises and questions I’ve been asked by coaches. There are more things about your life/writing wheel of satisfaction I’d like to have included that I’ll post at some point in the future. Biggest thanks have to go to Chris Guillebeau at Art of Nonconformity though, the Daddy of annual reviewers. His influence is clear in this (sorry I nicked some of your process, Chris), and he’s a huge source of inspiration (he’s about to complete a mission to visit every country in the world, how’s THAT for setting goals and going after them?).
