I went to another Storyville event a couple of days ago. I had intended to write about it yesterday but was somewhat distracted by getting stuck in a chocolate factory for 3 hours. It’s not as fun as it sounds. I mean, seriously. What kind of an idiot gets themselves stuck in a drafty old building next to a cemetary in a slightly dodgy part of London late at night?  Fortunately I was rescued before any horror movies came true.

My notes on that might have to wait until after the weekend because the next retreat is coming up, woohoo! I’m in the online version of Time Out again – don’t think I’ll ever get bored of seeing that. I have some lovely-sounding people coming that I can’t wait to meet, and even have a writer friend coming from Blackpool just to get some writing done!

All retreats are available as full weekend or one-day versions now, and I’ll create the one-day options for November in the next couple of days. I’ve also been plotting a NaNoWriMo Writeathon special retreat for the last couple of weeks, details to be announced after this weekend. I heart NaNoWriMo, mostly because I am a deadline sort of person and the challenge is fun. Let’s see if I still feel that way on 23rd November…
